Practicing Tibetan Buddhism

Kagyu Changchub Chuling

Kagyu Changchub Chuling (KCC) is a Vajrayana Buddhist center, founded by the Very Venerable Kalu Rinpoche, where the authentic teachings of the Karma Kagyu and Shangpa Kagyu lineages are taught, practiced and supported.

The primary focus of KCC is on the development of individual meditation practices. There are currently two meditation sessions each week, Calm Abiding (Shamatha) and Chenrezig Meditation, a Vajrayana practice. The KCC also come together regularly for a study group and a monthly all day sit.

Lama Michael Conklin has been the resident teacher at Kagyu Changchub Chuling since 1993. Michael's ability to share his understanding of the Dharma has greatly benefited the center and drawn many people to the practice. Michael also conducts classes at Portland Community College on Buddhism.
