The Sirimangala Buddhist Monastery is a Burmese tradition monastery. Services are conducted in Pali. "Everybody... is cordially invited to come and join us to participate in our group activities..." which include "recital of 'Bhamma Cakka' (Wheel of Truth), practicing transcendental Buddhist meditation", and Metta (Loving Kindness) practices.
Master Ashin Sirinda, resident monk and spiritual guide, is a fully-ordained monk with over 20 years in robes and holds a Master's degree from a Buddhist university in Burma.
Services, conducted in Pali, are on Saturdays from 7:30 pm. Call the monastery for other events and details. Services generally included chanting, meditation, and Dharma lecture.
